Alwyn H. Luckey
Alwyn H. Luckey is a long-time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and
married to the former Jeanne Elaine Carter of Biloxi. They have two daughters,
Laurel and Taylor.
Alwyn received his BA in Zoology from the University of Mississippi in 1982 and
his law degree from the University of Mississippi in 1985. He is licensed to
practice in the State of Mississippi in all Federal and State Courts, as well as
in the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a former shareholder
in the Asbestos Group, PA, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, which handled some of the
first asbestos cases to ever be successfully tried, including the landmark
Abrams case.
In 1993, Alwyn set up his own personal injury practice in Ocean Springs,
Mississippi, where he still practices today. Since striking out on his own,
Alwyn has been a leading participant in the landmark Cosey asbestos case that
was tried in 1998 and received a record verdict of $48.5 million. Considered to
be one of the pioneers in mass tort litigation in both the state of Mississippi
and the country, Alwyn represents thousands of asbestos and silica clients. To
date, he has been able to recover well over $150 million on their behalf.
Alwyn is also an active member of the community and serves as a deacon of First
Presbyterian Church. He is a former President of the Boys and Girls Club and has
received numerous awards, including the National Medallion for Service. He is a
member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Mississippi Trial Lawyers
Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, and the Jackson County Bar
Association.
In his spare time, Alwyn enjoys playing tennis, boating, and traveling.

Stephen W. Mullins
Steve Mullins was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is a long-time resident of
South Louisiana and South Mississippi. He is married to the former Jennifer
Finney of Shreveport, Louisiana, and they reside in Ocean Springs with their two
children, four-year-old son Wright and one-year-old daughter Anne Carter.
Steve is a graduate of Ocean Springs High School; he graduated with the highest
honors from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Business
Administration. He also received an MBA with honors from the University of
Mississippi. Thereafter, he attended law school at Louisiana State University
and began practice as a personal injury lawyer on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in
1989. Steve is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Steve is actively involved in asbestos, silicosis, and toxic mold litigation, as
well as product liability and bad faith. Having spoken this year at over a half
of dozen seminars on toxic mold, and also having hosted the first ever toxic
mold seminar for the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, Steve has quickly
developed the reputation of being one of the country's top toxic mold
litigators.
Steve is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Association,
Alabama Bar Association, the American Inns of Court, Trial Lawyers for Public
Justice, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Bar, Mississippi Trial Lawyers
Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Indoor Environmental
Standards Organization. He is also currently serving as the President of the
Jackson County Bar Association.
Steve is an avid fisherman who has served as President, Chairman of the Board of
Directors, Vice-President, and Treasurer of the Coastal Conservation
Association. He still maintains a position on the organization's Board of
Directors and is currently serving on the Board of Governors for the Mississippi
Trial Lawyers Association.
